Vol.21
Twenty four years ago, Kenichi Ushikubo’s family stayed for 4 days with my family in San Diego, California. Kenichi san brought us with his wonderful 1.0.∞ wood ball sculpture signifying the sacred number 108, the completion of existance.Kenichi san placed 108 wood sculptures on the ocean to float forever on the currents, 108 sculptures on land, and then gave his 1.0.∞ sculpture to museums and people throughout the world. In Sanskrit ,108 is a Harshad number, meaning 'joy-giver." These works of art are Kenichi san’s Soul prayer blessing for all those on Earth to overcome their passions, and become “joy-givers,” enlightened Souls.
